We are a society of snackers, there’s no doubt about it! Nowadays food is available 24/7 and our snacking obsession isn’t going anywhere. I am a massive fan of snacking too, but I am also very aware of these so-called ‘healthy’ grab-and-go bars which are packed full of so much rubbish. The same goes for free-from sweet snacks too and just any processed snacks on the supermarket shelves. They are full of added sugars, salt, saturated fat, palm oil and millions of additives to make them taste that little bit better. But at what cost to our health? Why can’t we just be happy with sliced apple and a good quality peanut butter!
