20% off online shop!

Hey everyone, hope you’re having a good weekend so far. I literally haven’t stopped baking since Monday, its been mad! I’ve been trialling and testing loads of recipes and making endless apple flapjacks to make use of the apple tree down the road! Who doesn’t love fresh, free fruit on their doorstep!

Now, I was going to post a recipe for vegan shortbread but I made some yesterday and still thought that the recipe could be improved so I’m hoping to post it next week instead!

However, I thought I’d still do a blog post to share with you that there is currently 20% off all products on the online shop! There are 6 products to choose from and they are all homemade to order in our kitchen in Dorset. We only use natural wholefood ingredients and never add anything artificial. Our products are so healthy and nutritious too, they are naturally free from gluten, dairy, egg, soya and refined sugar, which makes them perfect for those with allergies or intolerances, or if you’re just looking for a healthy snack. The sweeteners we use are maple syrup, date syrup and coconut sugar. Regular white sugar causes rapid spikes in blood sugar levels which can eventually cause type 2 diabetes. Natural sweeteners don’t cause such a dramatic rise in blood sugar levels and actually contain several minerals vital for good health! We also try to be as eco-friendly as possible with our packaging. The materials used to package the products are entirely plastic-free, we only use compostable and biodegradeable card and paper! We can ship to any UK address 1st class! See below for our range of products which have been reduced by 20%, a saving of around £4 per item! Have a lovely Sunday!

Bridport Vegan Market Menu plus another market date!

Hey guys! Happy Thursday, hope you’re having a good week. Just a quick update today regarding Bridport Vegan Market next Saturday (8th). I will be selling a delicious range of sweet and savoury products, all of which will be vegan and gluten-free and 7 out of 8 will also be refined sugar-free. Here they are!

I am so excited to be selling my food to the public, I’ve only traded at one market before! And yes, some of these products are the recipes from the blog!

You can see the Bridport Vegan Market website here and follow them on InstagramFacebook and Twitter too!

Some more exciting news is that I’ve got another market date to announce! I’ll be at Dorchester Summer Vegan Market on Sunday 4th August! Pop that date in your diary if you’re local, come down and say hi and sample some delicious plant-based goodies! You can get the latest updates from their event page on Facebook here.

In the last week I have also been updating my Pinterest profile with almost every recipe from the blog, so you can now catch up with eveything Ellie’s Recipes on there.

OMG Guys! While I was typing this, my stickers just came through the door!!!!

So so happy with them, they’ve turned out so well!! The photo doesn’t even do them justice! I’ve ordered an apron as well to wear at the markets, super excited for that to come and wear it next week!

That’s all for today! Enjoy the rest of your week! I’ll be busy prepping for the market and would love to see some of you there!

I’m so pleased it’s Saturday!

Happy Weekend Everyone! Its been such a busy and tiring week for me and I’m so pleased it’s Saturday. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the luxury of a bank holiday Monday off work and a four day week, so by Tuesday I was ready for the weekend! I’ve been so tired too and really lazy, my morning routine has been a bit of a mess and my to-do list keeps getting longer and longer! BUT I am so happy today; much more chilled out and so excited for next week!

This morning I made two batches of different granola (which made the kitchen smell divine!) and filled up my jars of roasted nuts, which always makes me happy! Plus, next week I’m working two days then going up to Birmingham!! I actually cannot wait to go somewhere different and have a few days off. I have literally stayed in Dorset for the last 6 months so to say I’m excited is an understatement!!

One of my favourite local foodie events is on this weekend – Christchurch Food Festival!! I don’t have a stall but I will defo be going tomorrow with the fam and spending most of the day in the vegan market section. I can’t wait to sit in the sun and demolish a vegan mezze box! Ahhh… I will probably post some photos of all the delicious food and my yummy purchases (I have a feeling there’ll be quite a lot as we do tend to go a bit mad, aha!).

I will also post another recipe next Saturday so watch out for that! Let me know in the comments if you have any recipe requests. If you like this blog and want to see more of Ellie’s Recipes, you can follow me on InstagramFacebook, and Twitter for the latest updates.

Hope you all had a wonderful week and enjoy the rest of your weekend.
