Breakfast Banana Split

A healthy twist on a classic indulgent dessert. This recipe is quick, tastes delicious and is good for you! The combination of sweet banana, nut butter, creamy yogurt and crunchy granola is so yum! It’s also a great lower carb option and perfect for those who don’t normally eat breakfast. Get the kids involved too, they’ll love pilling on the toppings with colourful fruit. Another great thing about this recipe is that you can use whatever you have in your cupboard or fridge, so get creative!

Source of protein, healthy fats, fibre and potassium.

Simple, healthy and delicious!

Topped with strawberries, blueberries and coconut


Serves 1

1 Banana
1 tbsp nut butter (peanut or almond butter is lush)
3 tbsp yogurt
3 tbsp granola (check out My Simple Granola)
Fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries and raspberries work well)
Handful of roasted nuts, optional


  1. Peel the banana and cut it in half lengthways.
  2.  Spread the nut butter over the flat part of the banana halves, then spread over the yogurt.
  3. Sprinkle the granola over the yogurt, then top with the berries and nuts, if using.
  4. Enjoy!
