If you have a sweet tooth then this is the recipe for you! Banana in overnight oats is absolutely heavenly because it’s so thick and creamy, and all the oats absorb the wonderful bananary flavour. I’ve also added chopped dates for a little hit of extra sweetness and cacao nibs for a slighter bitter crunch. This combination works like a dream! The riper your banana the sweeter it will be. Overnight oats couldn’t be simpler to make. You just combine all the ingredients together and leave overnight to work their magic. You can then grab it out the fridge the next morning and you’re good to go. There is no nasties hidden in this breakfast either, what you see is entirely what you get: oats, milk, banana, dates, cacao nibs and mixed spice. Just real food ingredients so you feel awesome and ready to win the day!
Vegan, Dairy-free, Refined-sugar free, Nut-free, Gluten-free using GF oats
90ml Dairy-free milk (Oat milk is my fave)
1 Medjool date or a few regular dates
2 tsp Cacao nibs
¼ tsp Mixed spice
- Start by mashing the banana into a container or jar, then chop up the dates.
- Add the rest of the ingredients to the mashed banana and stir until fully combined.
- Place in the fridge overnight and enjoy the next morning!
